Brief introduction of Sangong Mountain Monument

Sangong Mountain, which is now Xianwengzhai Mountain in Yuanshi County, Hebei Province, is ten miles west of Fenglong Mountain. It is an important place for offering sacrifices and seeking rain in Changshan County of Han Dynasty. It is one of the six famous mountains in Yuanshi County (where Guchangshan County is located). During the Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties, Longshan, Sangong and Baishishan in Yuanshi County (Changshan County)

Mountain, Lingshan and Wuji Mountain are all famous mountains in the north. In ancient times, there were also Lingshan countries and Wuji countries born of mountains. Shijiazhuang is the cultural and political center of this region. There are Han monuments on every mountain. At present, there are only "Sangong Mountain Monument" and "White Stone Monument". It is of great value to China's calligraphy art.

The structure is between seal and official seal, also known as "Miao seal". Yang Shoujing in the Qing Dynasty commented: "It is not a seal script, but a two-body work, pure and ancient, not to mention that Deng's seal script came from here." When writing this tablet, it is necessary to prevent the side exposure of the front of the horizontal and vertical strokes, and still put the hidden front into the pen. The inscription on the stone tablet is square, not long like Qin Zhuan, nor flat like Han Li, which takes momentum from left to right.
