1, use pen and ink well. Calligraphy is a kind of ink painting art, so when writing, the strokes should be sharp in all directions, the ink color should be appropriate, the dryness should be moderate, the wet place should be flesh and blood, and the dry place should show bone strength. Do wet and astringent, complement each other, shade appropriate, vivid and powerful brushwork, full of rhythm.
2. Strong brushwork. The strokes of calligraphy should be flexible and sharp. Therefore, when you write, you should be both rigid and flexible, draw straight like a column carrying a tripod, fold the hook strokes like a full moon bow, and stretch naturally when you start, lift and close the pen.
3. Respond from beginning to end. Calligraphy strokes, the first stroke and the last stroke are very important. From the first stroke, it is necessary to estimate how the last stroke is composed. If you write regular script, the first stroke is bold, and the last stroke is closed. The font is tight inside and loose outside, and the structure is rigorous. When writing cursive script, the pen is broken, the first pen and the last pen look around and echo, and the pen is transported in all directions.
4. Structural coordination. Calligraphy fonts have reasonable structure, exquisite structure, appropriate blank width and moderate stroke spacing. The strokes are long and thick, not prominent. The font has a correct posture and contains pen power.
V. Fiona Fang. Fang Bi used both a round pen and a round pen. When he was in Fang Bi, he went straight to the point, showing his vigor and vitality; When the pen is round, the hidden front is backward, which is subtle and round. Square but not sharp, round but not dull.
6, rather ugly than flattering. This is one of the aesthetic principles of calligraphy. In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, Fu Shan, an enlightenment thinker, put forward the slogan "Better ugly than flattering" in view of the sweet and vulgar flattery of the ruling class. Fu Shan believes that his calligraphy benefits from the simplicity of Han Li, Cai Yong and the boldness of Yan Zhenqing. It is not written for the corruption of the kitsch ideology of the elite.
