The first National Hairstyle Calligraphers Selection Campaign was co-organized by Hunan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Anhui, Liaoning, Jiangxi and other provincial hairstyle calligraphers associations (research associations). Participants are located in more than 30 provinces and cities, ranging in age from their twenties to their nineties. The 2nd National Hairstyle Calligrapher Selection Campaign was officially launched in Shaoshan on June 25th, 2009 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Chairman Mao 1959' s return to Shaoshan. The activity lasted nearly two years, and the new calligraphy styles 100, 30 and 10 will be selected soon.
