"heartbroken to faint, heartbroken to dusk" seems to write about sorrow, but because of the clever use of palindromes, sorrow has become a wisecrack.
Xiao Luan's character is a combination of two sisters, with both Wan Wan's interest in poetry and calligraphy and Xiao Wan's playfulness. But she often got sick and coughed later, which may be lung disease or tuberculosis. Xiao Luan gradually developed a sentimental character.
Shen Yixiu's maiden sister-in-law died, and Xiao Luan, who was only 13 or 14 years old, was heartbroken. She wrote a poem "Crying Six Aunties at Dusk", and there was a "heartbroken grave", which surprised Shen Yixiu. On one occasion, Xiao Luan saw a picture screen of a beautiful woman and wrote a poem: "The snow disappears at the beginning of the court, the moon is half hooked, and the moonlight is light." Jade people lean on the cold, spring comes at two o'clock, and they worry every day. "Although it is a night in early spring in the picture, in the absence of the moon, a beautiful woman is longing for her husband. However, Xiao Luan's understanding has already gone beyond the sentimental level of the picture, and its symbol is the last sentence. She uses "daily sadness" to interpret the specific moments on the screen into endless songs of everlasting regret, which is a portrayal of Xiao Luan's sentimental character.
The three daughters and their mother, Shen Yixiu, lived a quiet life in Hu Fen. The three sisters followed their mother's theme of flowers and plants, carving the moon and cutting clouds. They seem to have formed a literary society with Shen Yixiu as its president. Shen Yixiu is guarding the children, but she is also very elegant. But the style of writing is like a person. I can see their personalities from the works of the three sisters: extreme, naughty, and sentimental in Xiao Luan. Shen Yixiu is really worried about guarding these three daughters with different personalities.
Men are old, and women are old. 1626, at the age of seventeen, Xiaowan married Zhao Shanyuan, and three years later, Xiaowan, who was also seventeen, married her maiden Shen Yongzhen. Leaving the extremely surly Wan Wan and the mischievous Xiao Wan, the family suddenly became quiet. However, Xiao Luan is more sentimental than before and often stays indoors for several days. Moreover, her health is getting worse every day, and she finally fell ill.
Ancient superstitions believed that if young people were seriously ill, they could get married quickly and wash away bad luck through joy. Fortunately, Xiao Luan is seventeen years old. To celebrate, Mr. and Mrs. Ye found a marriage and betrothed it to Zhang Liping, a commoner in Kunshan. Once the marriage is settled, we must hurry. More than ten days before an auspicious day, Xiao Luan was able to get out of bed and walk by himself. Everyone was overjoyed, and the hearts of Mr. and Mrs. Ye were finally put down. Unexpectedly, just five days before the wedding, Xiao Luan suddenly fell ill and died of vomiting blood, and the happy event suddenly turned into a funeral.
Wan Wan, who was originally happy for Third Sister, is writing Poetry for Makeup for Third Sister at home. Just after writing the poem, I heard that Xiao Luan died suddenly, and Wan Wan was in great pain. My husband arrived in Ye Fu with Wan Wan, and when he saw the chaos at home, Wan Wan cried so badly that he couldn't accept it. She was in a daze all day after her husband took her home. More than two months later, she died of depression at the age of 22.
At that time, Yixiu's sister Qian Jun also attended the wedding, which was naturally painful. In her later poem "Mourning for My Niece Leaves", she wrote a sad sentence of "Driving back to Hunan Mountain, the sun is cold".
Shen Yixiu lost two beloved daughters in Yushu and couldn't bear the heavy blow. In the chapter of Zhang Qiong, a crying girl, she wrote: "A poem can be loved for seventeen years, and the moon can be shone in the boudoir", "I have never heard of hating Jiang Yan, which is unbelievable"; She cried for her eldest daughter again. She wrote: "The west wind is cold, the sound of bamboo knocking on the rain is cold, and the heart is broken and the ileum is knotted." Tears dried up. Soon, Shen Yixiu's half-white hair turned white and his expression began to drift. Xiaowan had to come to his parents' house to accompany his mother.
Unfortunately, however, things did not end there.
Ye Shizhuo, the second son who should be repaired, is a little literary talent, but even the scholar has not been admitted. Shortly after the death of Xiao Luan and Wan Wan, he died of depression. It's just that my granddaughter died. Grandson died, and grandma couldn't stand it. When Ye's mother visited her granddaughter's wife in mourning, she died without breathing.
In just one or two years, Ye Jia passed away one after another, and four grandparents and grandchildren, Shen Yixiu, were completely defeated. After that, he can't get sick any more. Ye Shao and Yuan only know how to study and solve family problems. They are too busy to handle their own family affairs. Everything in the family, from serving the mother to educating the children, including the income and daily expenses of the family, is taken care of by Yixiu. After a break from illness, the Ye family declined rapidly.
However, Ye, as the pillar of the family, is still trying to take care of his wife and support this crumbling family. In order to support his wife's spirit, Ye wrote a book "Qionghuayuan" for her, and pulled her dead daughter into the book through a mirage to please Yi Xiu. Ye is an eternal good husband. However, Shen Yixiu never stood up again.
Later, Shen Yixiu stopped writing poems. She devoted herself to sorting out the posthumous works of two dead women, and compiled her graceful poems into the Collection of Fang Xuexuan's Legacy and her poems into the Collection of Shu's Legacy. Three years later, Yi Xiu finished her work, and her hard work was exhausted. One midnight in late autumn, she died quietly holding two books of her beloved daughter. At that time, she was less than fifty years old.
After Shen Yixiu's death, Ye finally had no worries, but his physical condition became worse and worse. Despite his illness, he wrote more than 100 mourning poems for his beloved wife. In his later years, when his family was more difficult, he decided to escape into an empty door. Before The Dust Settled, Ye collected his poems in memory of his dead wife and named them Zhai Qin's Grave. Ye Yuan Shao worshipped Qin Guan all his life. He named his study "Zhai Qin", and "Zhai Qin's resentment" was taken from here.
1636, Ye compiled Yi, Yin and Arbitrary Si into Ten Poems of Wu. The drama Yuanyang Dream written by Xiao Wan, the second daughter, was also included in ten episodes of Wumengtang. Yuanyang Dream is the first zaju created by ancient women in China, which has certain significance in the history of literature. "Yuanyang Dream" embodies Ye Xiaowan's deep affection for his sister, and the plot is touching.
