?My home is located in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, a treasure land in the Northeast. I was born and raised here and am a resident here. I have grown up with the changes of this city. There is the famous Taizi River that flows endlessly, the legend of the beautiful Muyu Stone, and it is also an ancient cultural city with a long history. ?In present-day Liaoyang, Xiangping is the first city in Liaodong, and its history of city construction is the earliest outside the Pass. Before Nurhaci moved the capital to Shenyang, Xiangping and Liaoyang had always been the political, cultural and economic center of Northeast China. After Nurhaci moved the capital to Shenyang, Liaoyang began to decline. Now Liaoyang is sandwiched between Shenyang and Anshan and is developing relatively rapidly. ?The Taizi River flows through our city from the east, and it has a beautiful legend. The Taizi River was called Yanshui in ancient times, Daliang River in the Han Dynasty, Dongliang River in the Liao Dynasty, Wulu Hubilisha in the Jin Dynasty, and it means Reed River in Manchu. It was called Taizi River in the Ming Dynasty and Taizi River in the Qing Dynasty, which is today's Taizi River. ?The Taizi River has 24 main tributaries in Liaoyang. The rivers are home to various fish, shrimp and aquatic products. There is a proverb that goes like this: "Liangshui bream is where food is needed." Bream is a bream fish with a flat body and fine scales. It is a delicious fish. According to the "Liaoyang County Chronicle", there are more than 30 species of fish, shrimps, crabs, etc. in the Taizi River. The famous ones include carp, bream, crucian carp, catfish, heavy lip, etc. ?It is said that during the Warring States Period, "Qin attacked Yan, and King Xi of Yan fled to protect Liaodong." The Qin soldiers were closely pursued. However, due to the skillful command of the army by Prince Dan of Yan, the Qin State also suffered great losses, so the Qin State Come up with a plan. Qin's spies slandered the King of Yan: The reason why Qin attacked Yan was to kill Prince Dan and sacrifice his head to the King of Qin, so that Qin could stop its troops. King Xi of Yan believed his words and sent people to hunt down Prince He in Yanshui. Qin was overjoyed when he learned about it, so he sent troops to attack Yan, and Yan died. In order to commemorate Taizihe's noble character of not fearing power and loving the country, later generations changed Yanshui to Taizihe. ?Shou Mountain is a chain of Qianshan Mountains. It is named after its three peaks standing like human heads. It is a natural barrier for the ancient city and has been a battleground for military strategists of all ages. On its main peak, there is a beacon tower built in the Ming Dynasty. It has now been designated as a National Forest Park. The first mountain is handsome and colorful. From a distance, it looks like a young girl lying on her back, and her whole body is full of elegance. Whenever light clouds and mist surround the cloud peaks, the beautiful scene of "three cloud crowns" will appear. The clouds and mist are like white gauze fluttering, and the peaks appear and disappear, especially enchanting, just like a girl holding a pipa and half covering her face, standing tall and graceful, the ancients once gave her a resounding name - --"Three Cloud Crowns". ?Climbers who come here can walk through green pines, walk on rocks, climb piers and platforms, watch the sunrise, watch the sea, and have a panoramic view of the magnificent scenery of "the sky opens, clouds and mist are blue in the southeast, and the waves are red up and down in the sun." Climbing to the top of the peak, overlooking the west slope, there are rugged rocks, and the green pines and cypresses planted along the slope in the early years have now become a forest. The green pines, strange rocks, mountain roads, historic sites, pavilions, flowing water, flowers, blue sky, and white clouds on the first mountain can indeed make visitors intoxicated and forget to leave. ?In this city, there is a famous four-way street, which is very familiar to people there. It has now been built into an antiquities market and a street. On weekends, the whole street is a market, with antiquities and books from different eras competing for sale. Always stop by the stalls of your favorite items on weekends, ask the sellers casually, and find your own fun in bidding and counter-offering. On the one hand, I have increased my knowledge of antiquities, and on the other hand, I have gained a rare happiness. For a period of time last summer, because it was relatively close, I had to pass there every day. Therefore, Antiquities Street became a happy place that I must pass by. ?Wang Erlie, whose name was Zhongfang and whose courtesy name was Junwu, was from Liaoyang County. He was once the teacher of Emperor Qianlong. He is a person who loves his hometown and the mountains and rivers of his hometown, and he left many famous poems and lines in his life. He was a humble and respected man. On his 70th birthday, 124 people including some of the imperial staff, colleagues, and celebrities in the capital presented him with a "hundred-year-old" longevity screen composed of nine small longevity screens. There are 126 inlaid manchus, Chinese characters and paintings, which shows his high reputation in the Qing court. He was erudite and talented. "He was good at poetry and prose, and was good at calligraphy. His ink marks were as good as a jade." Today, the Wang Erlie Memorial Hall is located in the "Hanlin Mansion", Wang Erlie's former residence, at the west gate of the ancient city of Liaoyang.
The TV series "The Legend of Muyu Stone" is adapted from Wang Erlie's story. ?Cao Xueqin is the author of the Chinese classic "Dream of Red Mansions". It has been verified by "redology experts" for many years that his ancestral home is in Liaoyang. As Mr. Feng Qiyong said, "Xueqin's ancestral home is Liaoyang. It is recorded in family biographies, genealogies, documented documents, and evidenced by stone tablets. It cannot be moved for eternity." Today, various exhibition rooms in the Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall collect and display relevant historical archives of the Cao family and a series of documentary materials such as Cao Xueqin's grandfather Cao Yin's poems inscribed in Qianshan, Liaoyang, the Cao family genealogy, and Qing palace archives, which prove the historical fact that Cao Xueqin's ancestral home is Liaoyang. In addition, versions of "Dream of Red Mansions" and calligraphy and paintings by national famous artists based on "Dream of Red Mansions" are also displayed. The entire exhibition hall is a Qing Dynasty building, with couplets in each exhibition room. At the front door there is a gold-lettered plaque "Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall" inscribed by Feng Qiyong, a famous "Red Studies" expert. ?Speaking of my hometown, it is really wonderful and beautiful. This is a temperate zone with four distinct seasons and crops are harvested once a year, making it very suitable for living. The products here are rich, and there are three treasures in Liaoyang City: tower sugar, dried pears, and urala grass. Tart sugar is one of the specialty products with a long history. It not only has a special flavor but also has a beautiful appearance, like a plum blossom shape and porous. It tastes crispy, fragrant and delicious, and its color is white and delicate, and it remains unchanged after being heated. Every year on the 23rd day of the lunar calendar, we have to eat a few pieces to prepare for the arrival of the Kitchen God, which means that the new year is approaching. ?The southern pear from Southeast Mountain is fragrant all over the world. It can be called the finest pear. Once you take a bite, the fragrance will overflow. It is the best gift for New Year's Day. Make it into dried pears, which are durable in storage, have a sweet and pleasant taste, and taste sweet and delicious. Ural grass, also known as sedge grass, belongs to the Cyperaceae family and is a perennial herbaceous plant. The leaves are grey-green, slender and soft, and they grow in dense clusters on swamp ground. It is characterized by slender stems and leaves that are soft and tough after drying, and are mainly extremely warm. Bringing the grass roots home and letting them rot will become a good soil for growing flowers. ?Whether my hometown is beautiful or not does not all depend on one mouth. Beautiful scenery, humanistic care, a famous cultural city, a shining pearl in Liaodong. How can we not love it? We are really proud to grow up in such a city. We sincerely hope to make some contribution to our beautiful hometown so that we can live up to being a part of Xiangping. Friends, welcome to Liaoyang as a guest and look forward to your visit! Like
