Chu Suiliang's famous inscription

Chu Suiliang's book Traces has been handed down from generation to generation, and the truly reliable ones are Yi Que Buddhist Shrine Monument, Master Meng Monument, Square Monument and Preface to the Wild Goose Pagoda.

Chu Suiliang's calligraphy has always been highly respected. He inherited Europe and Yu, and blossomed in the following places. He was a key figure in calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty. Liu Xizai's "Art Outline" in the Qing Dynasty said: "Chu and Henan are the majority of educators in the Tang Dynasty, Yan Pingyuan has his muscles, and Xu Jihai and others have their flesh." Chu Suiliang's calligraphy art really influenced many calligraphers in the middle and late Tang Dynasty and even after the Tang Dynasty.

The characteristics of Chu Suiliang's calligraphy can be summarized by "Qiu Yi", which means that Qiu Yi is vigorous and elegant. Wei Zhi recommended the good books in The Songs of the South to Emperor Taizong. "Sui Liang wrote hard and got Wang Yi's body." Liu Xizai commented on Ou Yangxun's and Chu Suiliang's calligraphy, saying that "Ou Qi is like a tiger shock in Rowen, and Chu Qi is like a crane swimming in a flood drama", which is an escape.
