How much did Yan Song take? How many treasures did the property owner copy?

Yan Song, whose real name is Mianan, is from Jiangxi. Yan Song was a famous courtier in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. Because he was in charge of the state affairs for 20 years, he committed crimes such as eradicating dissidents, abusing power for personal gain, corrupting officials and corrupting state affairs, and was generally regarded as a traitor by later generations. Besides, Yan Song is also very accomplished in calligraphy, poetry and other fields.

At the age of 25, Yan Song was already a scholar in high school. Unfortunately, he was very ill, so he retired and went home for ten years. After more than ten years, Yan Song has been working in imperial academy. Since then, Xia Yan, the minister of rites, has won the favor of Emperor Shizong of Jiajing by wooing fellow villagers, and was promoted to the minister of rites on 1532. He took office in Beijing four years later and became a bachelor of cabinet within a few years.

Sejong was obsessed with Taoism, Xia Yan often opposed Taoism, and Yan Song always courted the emperor. Therefore, in the eyes of Sejong, Yan Song began to be more important than Xia Yan, and he liked him more. When Yan Song's wings grew, he began to attack and persecute Xia Yan. After several years of hard work, Xia Yan was first dismissed from office and then beheaded, and Yan Song became the cabinet record.

Later, although some ministers were dissatisfied with Yan Song's authoritarian power, they came forward to list his crimes and hoped Sejong would execute him. Unfortunately, all these dissidents were eradicated by Yan Song, so Yan Song didn't have any ministers who could be hostile to him in South Korea at that time. So Yan Song dictatorship for 20 years, do whatever you want. And his son Yan Shifan, also through the light of Lao zi, without the imperial examination, father and son * * * in power.

Eventually, Sejong gradually became disgusted with Yan Song and his son. It happened that a Taoist around Sejong said that Yan Song was a traitor to Fusang. So Yan Song was dismissed from office, his son was beheaded, and he died after wandering for two years.

The fall of Yan Song

Yan Song was in power for 20 years and finally collapsed. Not only was he isolated at home, but his son was soon found guilty and beheaded. Yan Song himself became homeless and died after two years of wandering. After his death, he had nowhere to be buried and no condolences. It can be said that this tragedy is very tragic.

Yan Song's position and power, in the final analysis, came from the love of Emperor Jiajing, so the final downfall of Yan Song must be related to the emperor. Emperor Sejong Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty was a very clever emperor. He saw officialdom and power clearly and thoroughly. When Yan Song and his son dominated the state affairs, framed Zhongliang, accepted bribes and ran amok, he didn't see it, but he didn't take it to heart. So a minister impeached Yan Song, and he didn't take it seriously. When Yan Song and his son began to offend Jiajing, it was really the end of Yan Song, especially the fire in Wanshou Palace, and Yan Song lost the favor of the emperor more and more.

Yan Song's downfall was caused by Xu Jie alone. Xu Jie has been forbearing for many years before. Now, he felt the change of Jiajing's attitude towards Yan Song and began to struggle with Yan Song. He introduced the helpful Taoist Lan Daoxing to the superstitious Taoist Jia Jing. But Landaoxing once helped her, and the result was that "separation of father and son is appropriate, and seizing power is treacherous", and clearly pointed the finger at Yan Song and his son. Jiajing asked why God didn't kill him, and the Taoist replied that it was for the sake of justice for the emperor. Later, with the impeachment of others and the encouragement of Xu Jie, Jiajing deposed Yan Song and ordered him to go home.

Later, Yan Song's son, Yan Shifan, was impeached and imprisoned under the premeditated plan of Xu Jie and others. After the case was closed in the second year, Yan Shifan was beheaded, and Yan Song was looted and completely collapsed.

Yan Song real estate

Yan Song's son, Yan Shifan, monopolized power for 20 years during Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. During this period, through accepting rewards, accepting bribes, selling officials and titles, extortion and so on. The two accumulated wealth, which led to their wealth. Therefore, Yan Shifan dares to say that the imperial court is inferior.

Corrupt officials have a lot of money and their sources are unknown, so most of them like to hide money. However, it is said that Yan Song and his son Yan Shifan have different preferences for hiding money. Yan Song kept a low profile and turned piles of gold and silver ingots and bars into daily necessities such as pots and pans. Unlike his father, Yan Shifan is much more extravagant. He likes to be surrounded by Jinshan Yinshan, so he dug a dozen cellars at home to put gold and silver jewelry.

Shortly after the fall of Yan Song, Yan Shifan was impeached and imprisoned. In the second year, after closing the case, he was beheaded, so Yan Song was stripped naked and all his property was stolen. It is said that his family property was included in the property seizure list at that time. Because the number is really huge, the number of words recorded is also increasing. Finally, it totaled more than 60 thousand words and became a book. The title of the book is Tianshui Iceberg Record, which means "The sunset is like an iceberg".

According to Tianshui Iceberg, Yan Song always found more than 10,000 taels of gold, 2,000 taels of silver and thousands of pieces of gold and silver jewelry. As far as Yan Song's gold and silver are concerned, compared with the 2.5 million taels of gold and 50 million taels of silver discovered by his former eunuch Liu Jin, it is really dwarfed, even worse than some of his men.

But unlike eunuchs without vulgar culture, Yan Song himself is very accomplished in literature and naturally likes to be arty. He often exchanges money for various paintings, books and other items. Yan Song's collection of nature is excellent calligraphy and painting, rare rare books, and the value of these cultural relics is not comparable to that of ordinary gold and silver.
