Capital Normal University is a college that established calligraphy education earlier in China, and its founder is Ouyang Zhongshi.
Ouyang Zhongshi was born in Feicheng, Tai 'an City, Shandong Province in 1928. He is a famous scholar, educator, calligrapher and calligraphy educator in China. Professor and doctoral supervisor of Capital Normal University. In the long-term teaching practice, he has made active and in-depth thinking on some long-standing problems in Chinese teaching. With his unique and profound understanding of the characteristics of China's language and writing, he put forward a set of scientific Chinese education reform programs, which were piloted in middle schools and won unanimous praise from all walks of life, and were included in Fifty Years of Chinese Teaching in Beijing. Ouyang Zhongshi was transferred to Beijing Normal University (now Capital Normal University) in 1981 to teach discipline education and logic, and embarked on the road of calligraphy education. In 1985, he presided over the establishment of the calligraphy major. First, he opened a junior college class for adult calligraphy, and the first batch recruited nearly 1 students from all over the country. Later, he developed undergraduate and master's education in calligraphy. In 1993, the State Council Academic Degree Office set up a doctor's authorization point for fine arts (calligraphy art education) in Capital Normal University. In 1998, the Ministry of Personnel approved Capital Normal University to recruit postdoctoral researchers for calligraphy projects. In 199 and 1993, Ouyang Zhongshi served as a master's student and doctoral supervisor respectively, thus establishing the first complete calligraphy education system from junior college, undergraduate course, master's degree, doctoral degree to postdoctoral degree in China's colleges and universities, and cultivating a large number of high-level professionals in calligraphy education in China. Under his initiative, in November 25, Capital Normal University established "China Calligraphy Culture Research Institute" and the first "Calligraphy Culture Museum" in Chinese universities. Ouyang Zhongshi also edited and wrote many important academic works, such as Introduction to Calligraphy, Overview of Calligraphy, Miscellaneous Knowledge of Calligraphy, Calligraphy of China, Calligraphy Course, Calligraphy and China Culture, and so on. Ouyang Zhongshi's calligraphy is fresh and elegant, calm and dignified, handsome and elegant, simple and gorgeous. Seeing his works, such as enjoying the mountains and flowing water, or seeing Wan Ma Benteng, shows his profound skill and innovative spirit. He has published many collections of works, such as Selected Poems of Ouyang Zhongshi and Shen Peng, Zhong Shi's Reading Ci Notes at Night, Zhuzi's Family Instructions of Contemporary Masters, Zhong Shi's Reading Qing Zhao Ci Notes, Lao Zi's Tao Te Ching and so on. His calligraphy enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad. Ouyang Zhongshi is knowledgeable and has a comprehensive and profound attainments in China's traditional culture and art. Ouyang Zhongshi once served as a member of the evaluation group of art discipline of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and a member of the jury of senior professional titles of art series art specialty of the Ministry of Culture. He is currently honorary president of China Calligraphy and Culture Research Institute of Capital Normal University. Member of the 8th to 1th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. On August 21st, 23, he was appointed as a librarian in central research institute of culture and history. Later, he was appointed as a professor of logic in Beijing Normal University and a lecturer in calligraphy art. Learn books from Master Wu Yan first, and then from Wu Yuru. Starting from the Tang stele, I immediately turned to the epitaphs of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Later, he also dabbled in seal script, official script, Oracle bones and inscriptions on bronze, especially in Linchi, Ou Yangxun. The cursive script is based on Wang Xizhi and Sun Guoting, and also benefits from the method of Huang and Zhu Dian. The book style is graceful and beautiful, natural and unrestrained and elegant. In p>1985, he presided over the establishment of calligraphy art education major in Capital Normal University. After more than ten years' construction, he has formed a complete higher education system of calligraphy art from junior college to undergraduate college to master's degree, doctor's degree and postdoctoral degree, making the Calligraphy Research Institute of Capital Normal University a base for training high-level calligraphy talents and scientific research in China. In the study of calligraphy theory, he has compiled more than 4 monographs and textbooks. There are mainly History of Calligraphy in China, Calligraphy in China, Calligraphy Tutorial (editor-in-chief), Notes on Zhangcao, Calligraphy and China Culture (editor-in-chief) and series of calligraphy textbooks of China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University (editor-in-chief, and self-written important parts). Among them, "Calligraphy Course" won the second prize of excellent teaching materials in colleges and universities of the State Education Commission in 1995. In 22, he won the first Lanting Award for Calligraphy in China and the Special Contribution Award for Education. As for calligraphy, he dabbled in Zhou Jinhanshi, Jintie Beibei, Tang Xian Song Zhe and even the Ming and Qing Dynasties, learned from others, and returned to the second king, forming a unique elegant and fresh style, which has a wide influence at home and abroad. His published works include Zhong Shi Night Reading Ci Banknotes, Zhong Shi Banknotes Reading Qing Zhao Ci, and Xiao Kai Tao Te Ching Book.
