Ezekiel vividly depicts four spiritual bodies around the Lord. (Ezekiel 1: 4- 10) These four "living creatures" worship the Lord and are closely related to him. Their appearance reveals the important characteristics of God. Every living thing has four faces, namely, the faces of a bull, a lion, an eagle and a man. Obviously, these four faces just symbolize the four characteristics of God.
In the bible, the bull represents strength; Cows are really powerful. As the saying goes, cows are just as powerful. Lions represent justice; Lions are famous for their bravery, and it takes courage to do justice. The eagle's face represents God's vision and insight; Because the eagle has sharp eyes, it can aim at tiny prey from a distance. What does a person's face represent? Since man is made in the image of God, only man can embody the most important feature of God, that is love. (Genesis 1: 26) In the Bible, we often read how God shows his strength, justice, wisdom and love, which can be called the four characteristics of God.
