Liu Jie Town has a long history and cultural origin, which is passed down from generation to generation. With the appearance of ancient temples and temple fairs, cultural activities have also formed traditions. Before the Qing Dynasty, after there was a "City God Temple" in Cuifeng Mountain, Liu Jie, temples were built in every village, and some villages had 2-3 temples. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, ancient theaters were built one after another, and temple fairs such as "Birthday Celebration", "Welcome Buddha" and "God of Wealth" were formed in the region, and local culture also formed traditions. Every year in Tomb-Sweeping Day, Liujie Cuifengshan Town God Temple invites a troupe to sing for three days. This custom lasted for four or five years after liberation; On the sixth day of the first lunar month every year, six streets will be opened, hoping for peace and harmony and a bumper harvest in the new year. The organization of street lamps and theatrical performances has continued to this day and has become increasingly fierce.

In the early years of the Republic of China, Liu Jie's cultural traditions included the Yunnan Opera League organized by Baoxiang Society, as well as folk lion dance, dragon dance, Lao Yang Encouragement and Hua Gun. There are lanterns and dragon lanterns in the middle stage. Lantern singing from blowing dust to the stage, from small programs to big books. At that time, Sixth Street, Sanfeng Street and First Street were organized to perform in the Spring Festival for three days every year, and sometimes they were invited to perform in other places. After liberation, the party and the government strongly advocated the development of cultural activities, from organization to cultivation of literary and artistic talents. Through multi-level cultural performances, many literary and artistic backbones have been trained and organized to perform in rural areas. In terms of cultural creation, Liu Jie Town's cultural works have been handed down from generation to generation. In the Qing Dynasty, there were poems written by Xiao Ying, some of which were included in Jinning County Records. He wrote Wu, which had a great influence on future generations in his hometown. During the Daoguang period, Geng Ruide's lower case calligraphy was praised by Lin Zexu. There are many writers and works in this area. Only after the 1970s, the works that have been published and performed include Nine Traditions, Modern Lantern, Drama, Li Peiyin, Village Covenant and Hometown Gossip by Cai Hongxing. Li Xiuhua's Dialect, Xiao Ping's Fifty Cents and Kan Jiaxing's Good Daughter-in-law have all been published in Jinning Literature and Art, and some of them have participated in product exhibitions.

In recent years, Kyeong-yeong Lee, a calligraphy enthusiast, has become a member of China Young Calligraphers Association and Kunming Calligraphers Association. His works have won the Excellence Award in China Youth Calligraphy Competition and won many awards in city and county calligraphy and painting exhibitions. Some of his works have been collected by Zhongnanhai, Provincial Museum, Chongsheng Temple in Dali, Yuantong Temple in Kunming and Panlong Temple in Jincheng. Now Jincheng has established the ancient Yunnan Panlong Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Six Street cultural relics include ancient temples in various villages. Although they were destroyed in the Cultural Revolution, most of them survived in recent years through the support and maintenance of the government and the masses. Among them, the "Sanjiao Temple" in Liu Jie is relatively well preserved, which belongs to the characteristics of ancient buildings in the Qing Dynasty and is listed as a county-level cultural relics protection unit. Inscriptions in China include "Yin San Rebuilds Guan Sheng Palace Monument", "Ganhai jiepai Monument" and "Ganhai Closing Hills for Afforestation Monument". There are also three pairs of stone tablets: Xiaojiafen, Yangjiafen and Guanjiafen. Sanyin Guansheng Palace, Liujie Sanjiao Hall and Cuifeng Mountain City God Temple all have flower terrace stone carvings engraved with the patterns of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" and "Twenty-four Filial Pieties", which are very beautiful.
