After more than two years of preparation and construction, more than 200 arhats have been built on Luohan Mountain, one of which will be claimed and supported by elites from all walks of life, and finally a Buddhist holy land with 500 arhats will be built here. At that time, many sages will gather in the mountains and set up a meditation hall to promote Buddhism, which will surely make Zen pass down from generation to generation. It is rich in tourism resources, which not only combines natural scenery such as lakes, mountains and hot springs, but also integrates Guandi Temple, Kannonji, Tibetan Buddha statues, bell towers, cliff stone carvings and famous calligraphy.
Since Buddhism was introduced into Tongan Scenic Area in Xiamen where Luohan Mountain is located, Zen culture has been developing, and many historical sites, religious temples and traditional Buddhist festivals have been preserved, which has precipitated a strong cultural heritage for the development of Zen cultural tourism resources in Luohan Mountain.
Walking into Luohan Mountain, along the gravel road, you can always feel the breath of Buddhist songs and sandalwood wrapped around you at every step. This is the allusion of "one Buddhist song at a time, one Lohan at a time" in the mountain, which is also one of the characteristics of the mountain. Here, due to the positioning of Zen culture, nature and humanity, reality and illusion can collide, blend and render. In the evening, I strolled around Luohan Mountain in the sunset, and deeply felt the charm of "the vegetation is covered with Buddha's light and the mountains are stained with Buddha's light"-for Luohan Mountain, the internal structure combination of various resources is an important embodiment of its tourism resources development value. Due to its special natural and human environment, the development structure of tourism resources is not only diverse, but also superior in combination and reasonable in structure.
In the scenic area covering an area of 54 mu, Kannonji, Bell Tower and other scenic spots with the representative significance of folk beliefs go up the highway and merge into the Lohan. These additional scenic spots have played a very good role in improving the taste of Zen cultural tourism resources in Luohan Mountain. At the same time, many cultural relics and calligraphy monuments with a long history have been introduced intact in the construction, which has high cultural, artistic, research and appreciation value.
