Introduction to Liu Wenyuan

Liu Wenyuan, whose courtesy name is Hetian and whose nickname is Youwu Zhaizhu. Born in 11961 in Jilin City, Jilin Province, a beautiful river city in northern China. He was fond of epigraphy, calligraphy and painting since he was a child. He became a disciple of the famous calligrapher Jin Yi'an. He studied under the tutelage of the "Two Kings" and has been writing non-stop for more than 20 years. His works are clear, elegant and full of rhythm. It shows the fusion of traditional kung fu and the flavor of the times. It can be said that "pen and ink should follow the times." He is good at calligraphy and likes to paint plums, orchids, bamboos and chrysanthemums. His works have been exhibited, published and won awards in national, provincial and municipal competitions many times. His works are cherished by calligraphy and painting enthusiasts and collectors at home and abroad and are widely circulated. The biography has been included in various dictionaries such as "Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters of the Past" and "Chinese Contemporary Cultural Celebrities". He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and a member of the Provincial Calligraphers Association
