People spent a dozen coppers on a theater ticket and an ocean on a box ticket. It is a great spiritual enjoyment to sit in the theater and listen to the opera. In each box, there is a small square table, some chairs, a teapot and bowl on the table, and some fruits. There are also tea stoves and towels in the park, and the service is very thoughtful.
At the beginning of the establishment of Guangming Theater, there was no fixed troupe, and celebrities were on call. The opening performance was "He Lv Back to Jingzhou", in which Wang Wusheng Liang Hai played Zhao Yun and Tong Zihong played Liu Bei, and immediately cheered. Shortly after the opening of the park, Zhang Si, who was in charge of money and grain in the county government, saw that it was profitable, so he invited some famous singers near Hejian with public funds and set up the "Xinhua Troupe" to perform in Guangming Theater. This is a large mixed class with all kinds of tunes. Wang Hailiang sang the Peking Opera Wu Sheng, Tong Zihong sang the Peking Opera Hu Sheng, Gui sang the Hebei Bangzi Tsing Yi, Ma Chunkui and Zheng Huchen sang the Hebei Bangzi Hualien, and Cao Yukui sang the Hebei Bangzi Clown. At that time, the famous actors in Guangming Theatre were Tian Guifen, Xiao Cuiyun, Gui, Jin Yuxiang, Li and others.
