Du Fu Caotang has undergone the reconstruction and expansion in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and has evolved into a famous cultural shrine with simple and elegant architecture and beautiful gardens, which integrates the pattern of memorial ancestral temples and the style of poets' former residence. Caotang is a unique "mixed" China classical garden, which completely retains the pattern of Jiaqing reconstruction in Qing Dynasty.

Du Fu Caotang covers a total area of nearly 300 mu, which is divided into: cultural relics scenic area (former site of Caotang), garden scenic area (Meiyuan) and service area (Caotang Temple).

The zhaobi, the main entrance, the main hall, the museum of poetry and history, the Chai Men and the shrine of the Ministry of Industry are arranged on a central axis, with symmetrical cloisters and other ancillary buildings on both sides. There are flowing water, small bridges and bamboo forests, which are solemn, simple and elegant, deep and quiet, beautiful and clear. On the east side of the shrine of the Ministry of Industry, there is the tablet pavilion of Shaoling Caotang.

1, Caotang Daxie

The thatched cottage is an open hall with a long couplet hanging on two walls: "How many poets are there in this country when the world is different?" Mr. Wang also lives in a hut, where he lives in heaven and earth for a long time and the moon is white and the wind is clear. "Originally made by Gu Fuchu in the Qing Dynasty, it has long been lost. Today's ink was written by Shao Zhang, a famous calligrapher after liberation.

2. History Museum of Poetry

The Museum of Poetry and History is the third and main building on the central axis. More than 1400 poems left by Du Fu truly and vividly show the social life picture of the Tang Dynasty before and after the "An Shi Rebellion" and reflect the history of the Tang Dynasty from prosperity to decline. Du Fu was revered as a "sage of poetry" by later generations, and his poems were called "history of poetry", hence the name "Poetry History Hall".
