Wen Cun Wen hai academy

Wencun Wenhai Academy, one of the four major academies in Mount Tai, was built at the same time as Ningyang Academy, Guang Hai Academy and Tanzhou Academy, all of which were founded by Kangjitian, a magistrate of a county in the Qianlong period, in 1770. Wenhai Academy was donated by Chen, a native of Wencun, and was built in the northern corner of Wencun. The former site is Wenhai Middle School. Wenhai Academy was founded by Chen Wenbo, a scholar from Wencun, and has been a place for study and education ever since. Chen Wenbo is the dean of Yuexiu College.

According to Dong Chen's memory, he once studied in it. Wenheim Academy has three entrances, and the scale is quite large. In the late Qing Dynasty, it was changed to Wenhai Primary School. Now there is a stone tablet engraved with the words "Wenhai Academy", which is vigorous and powerful. Now it has become a two-story bungalow, a dance studio for students. Kuixing Pavilion is the only preserved building in Wenhai Academy. Kuixing Pavilion has three floors and is made of blue bricks. Chen Wenbing, president of Wencun Calligraphy Association, introduced that Wenhai Academy has trained many talents, such as educators Chen Ziyuan, Chen Zichao, Chen Zhuoping, former president of Guangzhou University Chen Bingquan, one of the four great designers of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, famous architect and educator Professor Chen. Wencun is a veritable "hometown of calligraphy and painting". People in Wencun like calligraphy and painting, and there are many celebrities, such as Chen Dongting, vice president of Guangdong Painting Academy, a famous painter, Chen Bangshi, a fellow traveler in France and chairman of Paris Calligraphy and Painting Association, and Chen Guojia, a professor at Guangzhou Xinghai Conservatory of Music.
