Who's Zhang Yueqiao?

Zhang Yueqiao was born in Shaoxing on July 1946. His name is Weiyang, and he is a Taoist in Yin Mo. He studies in Shaoxing Normal College. He is currently a member of China Calligraphers Association, a member of Zhejiang Calligraphers Association and a consultant of Zhongyuan Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. 1993 was hired as a judge of the "Yonghui Cup" International Painting and Calligraphy Grand Prix. Born in ancestral Taoism, he advocates China's calligraphy and folk music, and advocates "taking the essence of tradition and creating his own style". His works have won many gold medals or first prizes in national and international competitions and exhibitions, and have been selected as stone carvings in forest of steles such as Silence, Taibai, Gui Monument and Gexian Mountain. He was invited to write inscriptions for bronze bells at home and abroad, such as "Nanping Late Bell" newly cast in Hangzhou, "Pingyangdong Mansion" in Dongyang, and "Jinlong Mountain Wanfo Temple" in Malaysia. The book was published in professional newspapers and periodicals such as Calligraphy Newsletter, Calligraphy Newspaper, Art Newspaper, Calligraphy Guide and China Calligraphy Newspaper. And was collected by the Organizing Committee of the Asian Games, the National Farmers' Games, the International Wushu Festival and the General Office of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC). Biographies, works and other materials were entered into the computer database of contemporary calligraphy figures in China by China Calligraphy Association. Calligraphy appreciation essays were selected into the book "300 Contemporary Young and Middle-aged Calligraphy and Painting People in China" published by Henan University, and published as "academic exchange" in the special issue of China Art Newspaper China Calligraphy Magazine sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In addition, biographies and works have been selected into more than 40 dictionaries such as Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting, Collection of Works of Contemporary Famous Calligraphers and Dictionary of Ancient and Modern People in Zhejiang. They were invited to hold a personal calligraphy exhibition at the first China Calligraphy Art Festival, and Mr. Wang Xuezhong wrote the title of the exhibition. His works have also been selected for the China-Japan Broken Books International Exhibition, the Zhejiang Workers' Works Japan Exhibition, and the 6th and 7th National Exhibition. The essay "The Present Situation and Future Conception of Zhejiang Calligraphy Creation" was selected into the 13th calligraphy theory Symposium of Zhejiang Province sponsored by the Theoretical Committee of Zhejiang Calligraphers Association. The history of calligraphy has been reported by professional newspapers such as Youth Calligraphy Newspaper, Art Newspaper and Tianjin Literary and Art Circle.
