? Our "Liuyi Village" is located on the edge of Quzhou City. There are some sayings that "Wu 'an is a good girl and Quzhou is a good archway" and "Guangfu is a good city wall and Quzhou is a good archway", which have been circulating in our area for a long time.
It is said that there are nearly 70 ancient archways in Quzhou, most of which are literati archways, such as the "Sanenguang" archway and the "Dragon Patent" archway. There are also chastity archways, such as the "Thousand Heroes of Heaven" archway. From the middle and late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, Quzhou's education was popular, and its subjects continued. With the developed economy and beautiful environment, it showed a trend of upward learning. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Wang Yi 'e, the minister of the Ministry of War, had ten archways.
? Quzhou archway is tall and straight, with excellent materials and exquisite carving, mostly funded by the court. Most of the archways stand across the street, and the figures and flowers are lifelike. Every memorial archway has a touching story. The remnants of the "Emi Rong En" archway in Wang Yie's cemetery are also engraved with the story images of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, such as "Three British Wars against Lu Bu" and "Empty City Plan". These archways are not only unique in architectural structure, but also integrated with sculpture, painting, plaque couplet, writing, calligraphy and other arts, integrating the life concept, moral concept and folk customs of Quzhou ancestors, with high aesthetic value and rich historical connotation.
