Treasure Ship Ruins Park is located in the ruins of Longjiang Treasure Shipyard 600 years ago. It is a large-scale ruins park invested and developed by Nanjing to commemorate the 600th anniversary of Zheng He's voyage to the West, integrating tourism, commemoration, exhibition and leisure.
The total investment is 600 million yuan. The first phase of the project was completed and opened in July 2005. Baochuan Ruins Park is located in Bao Zhong Village, Gulou District, on the bank of the Yangtze River in the west of Nanjing. The archway at the entrance of Baochuan Ruins is16.52m wide and10.82m high. On the horizontal plaque at the main entrance is the inscription "Treasure Shipyard Site" by Wu Zhongqi, a famous calligrapher in China.
Treasure sailboat
Made by Wei Wenxi, an expert in ship model making in China, the mast height is 1 1m, and the sail height is 8.3m It is completely made of the main mast of ancient sailboats, which is realistic and symbolizes our good wishes for smooth sailing in the future.
The total length of the stele gallery is 205 meters, showing ancient nautical charts and star charts in turn. Five most important commemorative replicas of Zheng He's voyages to the West (Tianfei Palace Monument in Xiaguan, Liuhe Town Monument in Taicang, Changle Monument in Fujian, Guri Monument in India and Ceylon Mountain Monument in Sri Lanka); A large-scale calligraphy work "Ode to the Soul of the Sea"; 108 bronze inscriptions, reflecting local customs and the story of Zheng He's seven voyages to the West. There is a sculpture with sails and boats in front of the East Monument Gallery.
