Linchi is the story of calligrapher Wang Xizhi.
The allusion to Linchi originated from Jin Weiheng's Four-body Book. This allusion is related to Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Wang Xizhi studied calligraphy since he was a child. He admired Zhang Zhi, a great calligrapher in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Whenever he had time, he tried to figure out the shelf structure and momentum of fonts. He thought to himself that his fingers were drawn on his skirts, and even his skirts were cut after a long time. Because of this, later generations called them "book saints."
Zhang Zhiyou is good at cursive writing, and his academic spirit is very rigorous. He practices calligraphy differently from ordinary people. He writes repeatedly on the clothes and silks at home, and then dyes and cuts clothes after writing. He insists on writing by the pond every day. After a long time, the water in the pond turns black, so people call him "Cao Sheng".
Wang Xizhi is determined to catch up with Zhang Zhi. While traveling around the famous mountains and rivers of the motherland, he studied the calligraphy of his predecessors and gradually formed his own unique style. After he finished writing every day, he would go to the pond in front of his house to wash his pen and inkstone. Over time, all the water in the pond became dark. People call this pond Mo Chi.
Wang Xizhi's early experience
Wang Xizhi was born in Langya, a famous family in Wei and Jin Dynasties. He was the second son of Wang Kuang, and his hometown was Nanrenli, a capital town in Linyi County, Langya country. According to the accepted statement, Wang Xizhi was born in the second year of Emperor Tai 'an of Jinhui (33). I lived in Kaiyang county when I was a child. When Wang Xizhi was born, it was in the "Eight Kings Rebellion" and the Western Jin Dynasty was in jeopardy. His father, Wang Kuang, suggested that Si Marui, the king of Langya, move south.
when Wang Xizhi was five years old, famous families, including Wang Langya, took their families to cross the river with Si Marui, which was called "crossing the river in the south with the clothes on the crown". When Wang Langya first came to Jianye, he lived in Wuyi Lane.
in Wang Xizhi's youth, there is no data to test. In the third year of Yongjia (39), Wang Kuang led the troops to save Huguan, and his whereabouts were unknown after the whole army was defeated. This year, Wang Xizhi was seven years old. In the days of Jianye, "Mother and brother got married and got better and better". I loved calligraphy since I was a child, and I was enlightened by my father Wang Kuang and my uncle Wang Xun. I also learned books from my aunt Mrs. Wei.
