The Heart Sutra Monument is located in guanyin temple, an art garden on the east side of Zhongshan Park in Jiangyin City.
The Heart Sutra was written by a different monk and Taoist Song in the Tang Dynasty. The monument was originally embedded in the back wall of the big iron niche of Maitreya Buddha Hall in Ganming Guangfu Temple, and was destroyed by fire in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. This tablet was re-carved according to the manuscript in the third year of Jiaqing (1798), and now it is preserved in guanyin temple, an art garden on the east side of Zhongshan Park in Jiangyin City, and embedded in the north wall.

It is engraved with the Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra, a volume of 279 words, divided into 13 lines, and the font is wild grass, with a long snake with a pen, which is magnificent, rigorous in structure and changeable in font. Among them, the word "Duo" is 2.07 meters long; The diameter and width of the word "Sheng" are 55 cm, the thinnest stroke is only 1 cm, and the thick stroke is 7 cm. The full text consists of six words, all of which are more than 2 meters long. Each word is oblique in size, echoing each other, in one go, vigorous and powerful in writing, vigorous and eccentric in font, smooth and smooth; At first glance, it seems to be written backwards, but it is a real book, wonderful and unusual. This monument is not only superb in calligraphy art, but also exquisite in carving technology. But under the refraction of light, the intaglio inscription gives people a sense of three-dimensional relief. It is the best existing ancient stone tablet in China, a treasure of ancient Chinese calligraphy and seal cutting.
