There are more than 36,000 cultural relics in the collection, especially Zhuang, Yao, Miao and Dong folk cultural relics. Bronze horns, flat bells in the Warring States period, tiger buttons in the Han Dynasty, bronze mirrors and drums, Dong Qichang, a great calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty, the "Four Heavenly Kings" in the Qing Dynasty, Qi Baishi and Zhang Daqian in the modern Han Dynasty are all precious. Many cultural relics in the collection have local characteristics and become national treasures because of their exquisiteness and rarity. The basic exhibitions include Liuzhou Historical and Cultural Exhibition, Liuzhou Minority Customs Exhibition, Ancient Bronze Exhibition, Ancient Painting and Calligraphy Fan Exhibition, Ancient Ceramics Exhibition, etc., which intuitively shows the audience the unique national culture and long history of Liuzhou.
