Brief Introduction of Beishen Village Site Scenic Spot in Yanta District, xi City, Shaanxi Province

At the entrance of the mountain in Yanta District, Xi City. 1973 bronze tiger charms from the Warring States Period unearthed at Beishen Village site. It's a symbol of Zuo Hu, walking posture, head held high and tail rolled up, with grooves on the back, imposing. Tiger body has 9 lines of characters ***40 characters, and the descriptor is used as a symbol of soldiers' armor. The symbol in the right half is where the king is, and the symbol in the left half is in the hands of the military generals of the viceroy (county name, in the northeast of Chang 'an District in the southern suburbs of Jinan). The script is Xiao Zhuan, which is fluent and clear, and it is a proof of mobilizing the army.

The discovery of the tiger symbol in the Warring States period provided important physical data for studying the changes of military system and calligraphy in the Warring States period. The symbol of the tiger is now in the Shaanxi Provincial Museum.
