In Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, there is the largest treasure house of calligraphy art in China, which is the Xi'an Forest of Steles. The Forest of Steles contains more than 2,300 steles and epitaphs from the Han and Wei dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties. They were written by famous figures from various dynasties and can truly be regarded as a collection of famous monuments.

Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, drew on the strengths of others and created a free and elegant calligraphy style. This new style of calligraphy quickly spread throughout the South. In the early years of the Tang Dynasty, due to the advocacy of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, Wang Xizhi's calligraphy was considered authentic throughout the country and had a great influence at that time.

Ouyang Xun was the first calligrapher in the early Tang Dynasty. His calligraphy is "strong in character and strict in law". He is unique in his style and is known as "European style". Ouyang Xun studied very hard. It is said that once when he went out and saw the stele written by Suo Jing, a calligrapher of the Western Jin Dynasty, he was not impressed at first glance; later he looked at it again and realized its beauty. So, he stayed under the stele for three full days, observing and studying carefully. Ouyang Xun's writing became more vigorous in his later years. The "Huangfu Birthday Stele" in the Forest of Steles in Xi'an is his work.

Yan Zhenqing during the prosperous Tang Dynasty was called another calligraphy innovator after Wang Xizhi by later generations. He passed the imperial examination when he was young. In order to learn calligraphy, he resigned twice and went to Luoyang to learn from Zhang Xu, the great calligrapher at that time. Zhang Xu saw that he was determined to learn calligraphy, so he taught him the writing method that he was unwilling to tell others easily.

Under the guidance of Zhang Xu, he studied hard and formed his own unique style, known as "Yan Ti". Yan's regular script is dignified and majestic, and his running script is vigorous and vigorous. Yan Zhenqing's strokes are even and sharp, strong on the inside but gentle on the outside, and the inflections of the characters are round and powerful. The "Yan Qinli Stele" in the Forest of Steles is his work.

After Yan Zhenqing, the most influential calligrapher was Liu Gongquan. He first studied Wang Xizhi, and later looked at the calligraphy of famous calligraphers of the Tang Dynasty. He thought that Yan Zhenqing and Ouyang Xun were the best, so he absorbed the strengths of Yan and Ou and formed his own style. His character bones are strong and rigorous in structure, and the world has a saying that "the bones are strong and the bones are strong". The "Mysterious Tower Stele" in the Forest of Steles is his masterpiece.

The calligraphy in the Forest of Steles is so beautiful that it is a treasure in the treasure house of Chinese art. The masterpieces left by art masters are still shining with dazzling brilliance.

Lesson 12 of the Chinese language of the People's Education Press: "Serving the People"

Our Communist Party and the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army led by the Communist Party are revolutionary teams. Our team is entirely dedicated to liberating the people and works completely for the interests of the people. Comrade Zhang Side is a comrade in our team.

People always have to die, but the meaning of death is different. In ancient China, a writer named Sima Qian said: "Everyone is destined to die, and it may be heavier than Mount Tai or lighter than a feather." To die for the benefit of the people is heavier than Mount Tai; to work for the fascists, to exploit the people and oppress When a person of the people dies, he is lighter than a feather. Comrade Zhang Side died for the interests of the people, and his death was heavier than Mount Tai.

Because we serve the people, if we have shortcomings, we are not afraid of criticism from others. It doesn’t matter who it is, whoever points it out to us. As long as you are right, we will correct it. The method you suggest is good for the people, so we will do it.

The idea of ??"better troops and simpler administration" was put forward by Mr. Li Dingming, a non-party person. His suggestion was good and beneficial to the people, so we adopted it. As long as we stick to what is good and correct what is wrong for the benefit of the people, our team will surely prosper.

We come from all over the world and come together for a common revolutionary goal. We still need to follow this path with the majority of the people in the country. Today we already lead base areas with a population of 91 million, but this is not enough. We need a larger base to liberate the entire nation.

In difficult times, our comrades must see achievements, see light, see hope, and improve our courage. The Chinese people are suffering, and we have the responsibility to rescue them. We must work hard. . If there is a struggle, there will be sacrifices, and death often happens. But we think of the interests of the people and the suffering of the majority of the people, and when we die for the people, it is a worthy death.

However, we should try to reduce unnecessary sacrifices as much as possible. Our cadres must care for every soldier, and all members of the revolutionary ranks must care for each other, love each other, and help each other.

From now on, no matter who dies in our team, whether he is a cook or a soldier, as long as he has done some useful work, we will bury him and hold a memorial service. This needs to become a system. This method must also be introduced to the common people. When someone from the village dies, a memorial service is held. In this way, we express our condolences and unite the entire people.
