Yao Lei, born in Juxian County, Shandong Province in 1976, studied calligraphy with his grandfather Yao Zun since childhood. In 211, I studied Chinese painting with Professor Han Wenlai from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. Now he is a member of China Calligraphers Association. Calligraphy starts with Ou Kai, and advocates two kings' cursive writing all the way. It mainly studies Daguan posts, Chunhua Pavilion posts, calligraphy scores, and the preface to the holy teachings, which are innovative from time to time. Landscape painting studies the pen and ink of the northern Sect, such as Ma Xia's hard side, Zhou Chen's beautiful face, Wu Wei's sudden appearance, and the change of Shi Tao. Since 21, the five-element joint exhibition has been held in Henglu Art Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Shandong Fine Arts Publishing House Art Museum in Jinan, Yadu Art Museum in Rizhao and Juren Art Museum in Juxian. Zhang Zhimin, Chairman of Shandong Artists Association, Zhu Quanzeng, Vice Chairman, Lin Haizhong, Professor of China Academy of Fine Arts, Ma Shixiao, a famous calligrapher, and others all praised him.
