From Wei and Jin Dynasties to the early Tang Dynasty, calligraphers took truth, movement and grass as the mainstream, and few were good at official script, and seal script almost became a masterpiece. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty preferred official script and once studied official script. After the Anshi Rebellion in the Tang Dynasty, the fashion was retro, and the study of orthography was more important. At that time, there was a calligrapher who knew a lot about seal script. His seal script is like a tiger and a dragon, vigorous and generous. He is known as "the back of Cang Xie" and is a master of truth, action, official and grass. Later generations even commented that he was replaced by Li Si, the prime minister of Qin Dynasty. This is Li, the master of seal script.
Li was born in Zhao County (now Zhao County, Hebei Province) and his ancestral home was Jingzhao (now An, Shaanxi Province). The year of birth and death is unknown. He was born in the Kaiyuan period of Xuanzong and passed down as an uncle and nephew Li Bai. He has served as imperial academy Cheng, a bachelor of Jixian College, a junior supervisor, a secretary and a junior supervisor, and is known as "the best in the world".
Li used to be Jinyun Order and Dangtu Order, and then retired to Jinyun, where he studied seal script for nearly ten years. His seal script began with Yin Zhongrong's Yi Shan Bei (originally written by Li Si, lost in Tang Dynasty) and was comprehensively used with essays. Finally, it was changed into a four-Weng style, which made it more sophisticated, beautiful and rich, vigorous and generous in his later years, which was the last word of a generation.
There are only stone tablets handed down by Li Chuanshi, such as the story of the city god, the story of the three graves, the name of the dry divination, the name of Yi Ting, the title of Prajna, and the epitaph of Wu. Unfortunately, they are all reprinted by later generations. Only the newly unearthed Records of Cui Youfu is a book of original stones, which can be called Li's masterpiece.

Li once wrote "Dr. Li Shang's Discussion on Ancient Seal Script" to explain his understanding of seal script. He said: "I would like to carve stones for seal script, prepare six classics, and stand in the Ming Hall, calling it' the classic of the Tang Dynasty', so that after a hundred generations, I will not lose money." Ambition. Unfortunately, Yang Bing was ambitious at that time, but it was difficult to overcome. However, Li not only studied seal script seriously, but also wrote Shuo Wen Jie Zi, which revived seal script in the middle Tang Dynasty and was called "two".
