Who inscribed the Three Hanshan Temple in Suzhou?
The word "Hanshan" was written by Zhu Zhishan. The abbot asked Zhu Zhishan to write an inscription, but it was in gold. The abbot didn't have that much money, only two thousand dollars, so he only wrote two words. . . Later, Tao Jun, a descendant of Tao Yuanming, declared that writing the word "Temple" was free, provided that his name was written at the back.
