Several ways to write the word rat

There are many ways to write the word rat. Rat, a common Chinese character (first-level character), pronounced shǔ, was first seen in oracle bone inscriptions. The original meaning refers to cave-dwelling beasts, and later specifically refers to rats (called mice in some areas), which is also a general term for rats. The image of a wretched person is similar to a rat, so it is extended to refer to villains and traitors; it also refers to one of the twelve zodiac signs. "Zi Mouse"
