Tourist attractions in Yangjiazhuang Village

There is the Longshou Ancient Courtyard in the east of the village, where incense is constantly burning. It is a good place for religious activities. It is located on the bank of Xitiao River, surrounded by mountains and rivers. The main entrance of the hall faces the lush forests and bamboos, and the top of Longshan Mountain reflected in the blue pool. The scenery is extremely beautiful. Longshou Ancient Courtyard has convenient water and land transportation. It is located in the middle section of Xisaishan Road from Huzhou City to the South Railway Station. You can take the No. 13 bus and get off at Yangjiazhuang Station. The waterway can lead directly to the Miaoqian River Pier.

Longshou Ancient Courtyard was originally called Dongqiao New Temple, also known as Dongqiao Yamen Temple, commonly known as Yangjiazhuang New Temple. It was first built to commemorate Wu Congzhong, the prefect of Wuxing in the Tang Dynasty. Wu Congzhong's life is unknown. In the 28th year of Kaiyuan of Tang Dynasty (AD 740), he served as the governor of Wuxing County. At that time, Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, was in power. According to legend, Wu Congzhong implemented benevolent principles after taking office and contributed to Huzhou's politics, economy, culture, and water conservancy. He is a man of integrity and does not flatter the powerful, so he is loved by the people. Later, because he offended the eunuchs of the court, he left his post and went to Hu, where he died. The people of Huzhou felt his kindness and built a temple in Yangjiazhuang to commemorate this upright official who loved the people like a son. They built a statue of the county governor here and offered incense. The incense has been flourishing for thousands of years.

Longshou Ancient Temple has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt in history. Due to long-term disrepair after liberation, especially during the Cultural Revolution, the temple was dilapidated and abandoned. After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, religious policies were fully implemented. In 1998, with the approval of the Municipal Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau (Hu Min Zong 1998 No. 6), Longshou Ancient Courtyard was rebuilt and opened to the outside world. In the 2002 annual report, it was approved as a place for religious activities (Zongchang Zhunzi 2002 No. 16).

After reconstruction, the Longshou Ancient Courtyard has a completely new look, with extraordinary style and grandeur. The temple is solemn and brilliant, with statues of Lord Wu, Patriarch Lu Chunyang and other statues. It belongs to the Longmen sect, the successor of the Longmen sect of Taoism.

The plaque of Longshou Ancient Courtyard was inscribed by Mr. Li Ying, a famous calligrapher in Huzhou City.

It is the largest body of water in Xise District, Huzhou City, covering an area of ??approximately 400 acres. It is located northeast of the current Huzhou Railway Station and will be directly east of the new Huzhou Railway Station. According to the plan, the highest-end villa area in Huzhou City will be built along the Xifengyang coast within five to eight years. The tallest building in Huzhou City, which is 99 meters high, will also stand beside the west wind. "Yu Ge Zi" written by Zhang Zhihe in the Tang Dynasty describes the beautiful scenery of Xisai Mountain and the west wind. Below is a collection of beautiful pictures.
