Shouyi Shanggaun's works are collected by Beijing Museum and Wen Yiduo Memorial Hall. His works have been exhibited in Beijing, Tianjin, Wuhan, Zhuhai, Wuxi and other places, and have been well received by experts and rated as contemporary calligraphers.
Shouyi Shanggaun is currently the president of China National Painting and Calligraphy Institute, the vice president of China Modern Art Institute, one of the 30 painters specially invited by China Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a researcher of Wuxi Museum in Jiangsu, a member of China Calligraphy Association, a national first-class artist, a professor of Taishan Art Institute, and a member of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
