Juren Village in Lingshui is located in Mentougou District, Beijing, about 90 kilometers away from Beijing. Whether it is called Lingshui Village or Juren Village, it is so smart and mysterious that we are a little yearning. This is a village with a history of thousands of years, which became a village as early as the Han Dynasty. The Lingquan Temple in the village was built in the Han Dynasty and is the earliest Buddhist temple in Beijing. In June, 2005, Lingshui Village was listed as the second batch of "Famous Chinese Historical and Cultural Villages" by National Cultural Heritage Administration, and was selected as the location by movies and TV series for many times.
In Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, taking part in the imperial examination became the only way for folk students to be promoted. In order to make the imperial examination go smoothly, students often go to the local Wenchang Pavilion to worship Emperor Wenchang. It is extremely rare for two temples to be built together in the north of China. This is a testimony that Lingshui Village has been advocating culture and outstanding people since ancient times.
Juren Village in Lingshui is an ancient village formed in Liao and Jin Dynasties, which bears the economic development of Lingshui Village and has a strong cultural atmosphere. Since the imperial examination system prevailed in Ming and Qing dynasties, there has been an endless stream of people who have achieved fame in the village. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there have been more than 20 juren and nine scholars in Lingshui. In the early years of the Republic of China, six people graduated from the National yenching university, which is why they have the reputation of "Juren Village".
An antique screen with black words and blue tiles on a white background, with the words "Lingshui Juren Village" written on it, passes through this quaint mountain village. Let's relax, run freely, explore nature and enjoy this hard-won peace and tranquility!
It is widely known here because "Where's Dad?" The first season was filmed here. We can go to the yard to find the house where the children lived in those years. There is also a cute little goat in the village, which is a prop in Where is Dad? Now it is specially fed by the villagers.
The houses in Lingshui Village are all antique buildings. The screen wall in front of the village "Lingshui Juren Village" was inscribed by Yang Zaichun, a famous calligrapher in China. Black characters on a white background isolate the village from the outside world, and at the same time isolate the noise from the outside world. A long alley winds along the screen wall, and the courtyards of ancient houses are located on both sides of the alley. This village is full of shabby old houses. The wooden door of the house was washed gray by the rain, and the window lattice was also bustling.
Along the path built by the mountain in the village. The village is very quiet, and there are very few people at ordinary times. One or two villagers I meet occasionally are also very simple and rarely talk. It is such an isolated mountain village that has produced so many intellectuals and its cultural heritage has far-reaching influence. There are three stone alleys in front of and behind the village, each of which is brick structure. The yards with blue bricks and gray tiles are stacked one after another, and the layout is compact and surrounded by each other. Several juren courtyards are elegant and exquisite, and the buildings are all brick structures with blue bricks and gray tiles. The gatehouse, screen wall, stone brick carvings, stone tablets and couplets all embody heavy cultural connotations.
There are many historical sites in this village. However, most of the temples of cultural relics have ceased to exist with the passage of time, and all the existing ones have been repaired, and Notre Dame de Longwang Temple is one of them. Two thousand-year-old cypresses protruding from the courtyard wall are rare and wonderful. A mulberry tree parasitized in the middle of a hole in the trunk of an ancient cypress tree in the Jin Dynasty, with a fantastic posture. One elm is parasitic on the thick branches of another elm. The two trees are in full bloom and full of interest. People call it "Bai Bao Sang" and "Bai Bao Jade", which are two of the "Eight Scenes of Lingshui" in Lingshui Village.
Lingshui Village has beautiful natural scenery and many cultural relics and historic sites. Since ancient times, there has been a saying of "eight scenic spots in Lingshui". Now the villagers in Lingshui also told me that there are eight scenic spots in the village: Dongling Stone Man, Lotus in Xishan, Beitiao in Nantang, Bai Cui in Beishan, Sang Yu in Bai Bao, Ginkgo biloba in Lingquan, Juren House and temple ruins. Every landscape through the ages has a beautiful legend.
Wherever you go, there will be no lack of local characteristics. There are rich special snacks here: juren porridge, fried oil incense, wild vegetables, pancakes, farm stews, fish-flavored pancake rolls and so on. , are irresistible delicious! Accommodation in scenic spots is also very mature. There are farmhouses to choose from in the village. The economy is simple and the price is not expensive.
