Does practicing calligraphy help mental patients?

Practicing calligraphy is helpful for mental patients. For patients with mental disorders who are in stable condition and have certain social functions after taking medicine, I will intervene in calligraphy three times a week. I will practice calligraphy from writing, and learn it one by one. In the process of practicing calligraphy, patients can relax, calm down and write down each stroke calmly.

After the intervention of calligraphy, many patients can practice calligraphy every day and calm down to write every stroke. The patient's mood also became stable, and his mind was peaceful, and he cooperated with the treatment.

Calligraphy is a kind of nonverbal psychotherapy. Through calligraphy intervention, patients can calm down to stabilize and adjust their emotions, change their cognitive, thinking and behavioral abilities, enhance their will and self-confidence, promote the recovery of self-knowledge and eliminate negative emotions. People with mental disorders still have a long way to go. In my future work, I will continue to work hard in the process of mental patients' rehabilitation to re-guide their life path and return to society.
