Creative notes:

Poems, books, paintings and carvings were called "leisure" and "carving insects" in ancient times, and also called "gadgets" in rivers and lakes. Now they are collectively called "works of art". But what is "art"? It is not easy to make it clear that people have different opinions. Because it is not easy, there are different opinions, vague and obscure, and profound and mysterious. In fact, "art" is nothing more than an artist's "talking". Talking is very ordinary, how can it be profound and mysterious? Gombrich said that there is no such thing as art in life, only artists. Why? Art is an artist's "talk", and only artists can speak first. When an artist stops "talking", he is no longer an artist; If artists stop talking, there will be no so-called "art" in life; An artist is a fake artist when he says other people's words, lies, nonsense and inexplicable words. Nowadays, pseudo-artists can also fool the masses into making waves, but in the end they often don't show disgust, especially in art history. Speaking of it, Whitehead is called expression and textbooks are called creation. Speak in dialect or Mandarin; It can be eloquence, or silence is golden; You can be very happy with your eyes, ears, nose, tongue and body, or you can meditate all day. Speaking, you can "speak" to your ears or eyes; You can "talk" with others, you can also "talk" with yourself, and you can even "talk" with the empty universe and the distant future; Maybe, I just want to say, I have to say, I have to say, to whom, to vanity. Speaking of it, in the end, the "heart" is talking, or even "not talking" is talking. Some people may never say it well, but they have to say something; Some people may always seem to speak well, but in fact they don't have "words" Talking often means saying nothing. Therefore, the important thing for painters and calligraphers to do is to use those lines to draw their own words, say what they are thinking, and say what they really can't hold back. That's all.
