Zhang Taiyan is a modern democratic revolutionary and thinker. Zhang Taiyan Memorial Hall is located at the northern foot of Nanping Mountain. Behind the memorial hall is Zhang Taiyan's tomb, a concrete dome. The seal script of "Zhang Taiyanzhi" on the tombstone was written by him personally before his death. Zhang Taiyan died in Suzhou on June 1936 and was buried in Lao Liyuan. He was moved and buried here in April 1956, and the tomb was rebuilt in June 198 1 2006.
