2. "Genghis Khan" means "God-given" in Mongolian. Genghis Khan is God's great sweat for the Mongols.
3. Two books, Origin of Mongolia and Genealogy of Mongolia, hold that Temujin was 28 years old in the first year of Taihe. Three days before he ascended the throne, birds sang in five colors every morning, which seemed to be auspicious. So the name "Genghis Khan" came from this.
