This poem was written by Mao Zedong, a modern scholar.
The whole poem is as follows:
Life is easy to get old, but it is hard to get old.
Today is Chongyang, and the yellow flowers in the battlefield are particularly fragrant.
The annual autumn wind is not as strong as spring.
Better than spring, just like Wan Li frost on the vast river.
Translation:
How easy it is to get old all one's life,
Double Ninth Festival comes every year.
Today is the Double Ninth Festival,
The chrysanthemums on the battlefield smell good.
Year after year, the autumn wind blows hard,
That's not the glory of spring.
But better than the sunshine in spring,
On the endless Tingjiang River, there is endless autumn frost.

Appreciation of works:
"Life is easy to get old, but it is not easy to get old." Flying like a mountain, the momentum is abrupt. These two sentences, from a close look, the former one is empty, and the latter one is real; The first sentence generally discusses the day of life, and the second sentence leads to the topic of Chongyang. From a distance, the former sentence is the subject and the latter sentence is the object; The first sentence is an outline, covering the whole article, and the last sentence is only a further explanation. Here, we must understand the following three points: first of all, "life is easy to get old" is just a comparison with "paradise is difficult to get old", and it does not contain any negative or sentimental meaning. There are too many ancient ci works, which slander the spring and complain about the autumn and lament the poor and the old. But here, it is completely another kind of thought and emotion. The emphasis here is "it is difficult to get old." Secondly, "not easy to get old" means that everything in the universe is constantly developing and changing, and the situation is always new. "Heaven" is a fragment, and "difficult to get old" means that the process of development and change is endless. These three words are simply the description of dialectical materialist world outlook, so we must pay attention to them. Once again, I understand the meaning of "it is hard to get old" and the saying that "life is easy to get old". Not only do we not lament the exposure of human life, on the contrary, what we are talking about here is that we should devote our limited life to the infinitely magnificent revolutionary cause, seize the time and emit as much light and heat as possible, but what's the harm? It's hard to get old. This meaning is rich and this feeling is high. It reveals the immortal law of historical development, embodies the spirit of revolutionary optimism, and is as alert as a motto, which is really intriguing. In this growth, it was born from the natural phenomenon or objective reality of "Double Ninth Festival", and it was an abstract concept revealed through concrete sensibility. Therefore, the former subject is the latter object, and the latter sentence is the predicate of the former sentence, but it does not mean that the latter sentence is not as important as the former one; Because, from another point of view, the former is empty, the latter is real, poetry is aroused by "Chongyang", while "life is easy to get old" is sublimation, and the two sentences are organically synthesized fine gold, which are indispensable.
"Today is Chongyang, and the battlefield yellow flowers are particularly fragrant." There is a double ninth festival every year, which is endless. The ancients often wrote poems and lyrics on the Double Ninth Festival, which was nothing more than a bleak and full of silence. Only interested Mao Zedong suddenly created it alone. If we say "Chongyang again today", it is slightly like "the sun and the moon come in the morning"; And "the yellow flowers in the battlefield are particularly fragrant" will also sweep through the ages. Why is the "yellow flower" in Battlefield "particularly fragrant"? The battlefield is sown with the heads of heroes and irrigated with the blood of martyrs. In the fire, wild chrysanthemums stand upright and open, blooming with yellow fragrance, which makes people feel extraordinarily beautiful and doubly happy.
"The annual autumn wind is not like spring." Grasp the meaning of the film, write about the scenery and describe the feelings. Naturally, the autumn wind is vigorous, unlike the charm of spring. But it is definitely not "spring is blooming and full of bleak". If we say that in these two sentences, there is no graceful and restrained autumn wind and spring; Then, immediately wrote: "Better than spring, the vast Wan Li frost", which was held in autumn and spring. Why Better than Spring? In spring, how can there be such a bright and gorgeous, high-spirited and smooth scene? The Frost over the River in Wan Li is quite different from Du Fu's "The sky is clear and the frost is clean, and the court is foggy". Such as autumn frost, Du Fu thought of "court" and Mao Zedong thought of "spring". The aesthetic evaluation made by comparing autumn with spring is obviously not entirely based on the natural attributes of spring and autumn, but the key lies in the poet's fighting character and light gravity. Therefore, in this kind of lyricism, there is naturally a meaning and a sustenance. "Autumn Wind" reminds people of a quiet life like flowers. So "better than spring" is a logical inference. The sentence "Jiang Tian" indicates the bright future of the revolution and shows the firm confidence in victory. These implications and sustenance are "implications" and "taste is outside" in the description of landscape romance, and its beauty lies in "taste is outside the salty and sour". The image of a poem should not be regarded as a symbol of an idea, it is better than the way of expressing one's will with things. It is the unity of true poetry and profound philosophy, and it is a great philosophical brilliance radiated by rich poetry. First of all, it gives people a strong aesthetic enjoyment, thus giving people the encouragement of resolute will and the enlightenment of wisdom and reason. This is the highest artistic conception of poetry.
