Shi Dahua's artistic experience

Shi Dahua studied calligraphy and painting seriously for more than 40 years. He copied Qi Baishi's Shrimp, and learned from famous historical calligraphers in China, such as Wang Xizhi, Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan. Good at all kinds of calligraphy, especially shrimp painting, good at regular script, official script and running script. His calligraphy stippling is delicate, dense, free and easy, simple and heavy, rigorous and detached.

He learns from the ancients, pursues randomness and naturalness, blends into his own aesthetic taste, and endows his works with new horizons and new life. He does not seek fame and fortune, is charitable, hospitable and generous, and does whatever he wants, which is highly praised by colleagues in the painting and calligraphy circles. Many works have been collected by many institutions, major museums and celebrities at home and abroad such as Britain, the United States, Canada, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and Singapore.
