Li Lingyun, an old calligrapher in the Republic of China

1948 enlisted in the army to engage in literary and artistic work. He used to be the detachment leader and the deputy head of the creative group of the Corps Cultural and Art Troupe. 195 1 East China Pictorial Artist, 1953 East China Magazine Art editor, 1955 Autumn Art editor. 1958 participated in the preparation of the military museum. 1978 was transferred to the Chinese Painting Creation Group of the Ministry of Culture of the State Council to participate in the preparation of the Chinese Painting Research Institute, and then engaged in creation and research in the Chinese Painting Research Institute. His works are mainly flowers, especially peonies. The works are rich in pen and ink, novel in composition and elegant in style.

His works have been selected for many large-scale painting and calligraphy exhibitions at home and abroad. /kloc-in the autumn of 0/986, he was invited to attend the international plastic arts street in Baghdad and exhibited three works. "Mo Peony" won the honorary prize of "Dukang Cup" Chinese Painting Peony Competition in January/987, and the "Beijing International Ink Painting Exhibition" in October/988+00. Other works, such as Morning Melody, Bee Loves Sweet Fragrance and Spring Garden, were collected by China Art Museum, Chinese Painting Research Institute and Beijing Great Hall of the People respectively. He has published books such as Ode to National Colors-Li Lingyun Peony Painting Collection and Li Lingyun Peony Painting Techniques.
