Brief introduction of Mao longbi

Maolongbi is a famous specialty of Jiangmen Xinhui, with a production history of 500 years. It sells well all over the country and enjoys a high reputation in Southeast Asia. Its inventor is Chen Baisha, a Guangdong scholar. Mr. Baisha made a dragon pen out of imperata on Guifeng Mountain in Xinhui, and the calligraphy he wrote was spicy and wild, vigorous and powerful. At that time, it was famous all over the country and had far-reaching influence, and it was known as "one person in Lingnan". Mr. Baisha has a deep affection for Mao Longbi created by himself, and he is honored as "Mao Jun". Among his poems, there is a poem praising the magic of Mao Long's pen: "Mao Jun took a little trouble before he was called a miracle." When I was sick in my later years, I couldn't write with Mao Longbi. He sighed and said, "Thank you, Mao Jun, and wait quietly until the end." Mr. Bai Sha left many calligraphy books, such as Ci Yuan Temple Monument (stone carving running script), Ode to Enduring Characters (woodcut running script) and Planting Horses (paper hand scroll, running grass).
