Fujiwara Saori (ふじわら の すけまさ/さり), lived from the 7th year of Tenkei (944) to July 25th of the 4th year of Nagatoku (August 24, 998). He was a calligrapher during the Heian period, and his identity was public minister. (He is) the grandson of Taisei Minister Fujiwara Minori and the son of Major General Sakonoe Atsutoshi Fujiwara. The name "すけまさ" is taboo, so it is often pronounced "さり".
