Liu Gongquan: Born in 778, died in 865, Jing, Han nationality. A famous calligrapher and poet in the Tang Dynasty, the younger brother of Liu Gongzhuo, the minister of war.

Calligraphy is famous for regular script, and Wang Xizhi is a beginner. Later, he visited famous calligraphers in the Tang Dynasty, absorbed Yan Zhenqing's strengths, and created his own "Liu Ti", which is famous for its strength and health. Later generations have the reputation of "Yan Gu". It is also called "Yan Liu" with Yan Zhenqing, and "four masters of regular script" with Ou Yangxun, Yan Zhenqing and Zhao Mengfu. Inscriptions handed down from ancient times include diamond sutra, mysterious pagoda monument, Su Feng monument, etc. Cursive scripts include Shen Fu, The Sixteenth Day, Insulting Hunan Post, etc.
