The strong impression of Xuefeng comes more from the impression of calligraphy and the evaluation of friends around. I prefer calligraphy. At some book fairs, you can always see the words of Xuefeng. When I watch them too much, I always have vague regrets. I feel that if the atmosphere is better and the platform is higher, the future of this pure text should be limitless.
Xuefeng grew up in Gyeonggi in the Western Zhou Dynasty, where historical and cultural fragments abound, but some of these elements are visible and some are perceived by the soul. In the communication with Xuefeng, you can feel the deep traces left by these cultural elements in his hometown, which invisibly affect his learning path. Xuefeng's self-styled grass field cloth is full of earthy breath, which shows that he has never forgotten the mulberry feelings from a peasant family and his simple attitude towards life in a calligraphy garden. In the past few years, he has made great achievements and even entered several national exhibitions. He has become a member of China Calligraphers Association. The achievement of these achievements is the reward of his energy and sweat, which should be very good for a teacher who lives in school. However, Xuefeng is never ostentatious and pretentious. Contact with Xuefeng, the deepest feeling is his truth. Nowadays, people are used to using masks to show people. They talk to you like brothers on the wine table and go out like passers-by. Xuefeng, otherwise, when he met you, his unnatural politeness to you, his dispute over artistic views, his treatment of people and his discussion of literary theory were all natural, without any affectation. Such friends make people feel at ease. Xuefeng is only one year younger than me and is the same age. But when he saw my brother on the phone, I was at a loss. You said he would call me that next time. I know this is due to his humble habit. Don't let him call him that, for one thing, he doesn't want to be bold, and for another, he doesn't want to think of his gloomy face. Compared with Xuefeng, it is always full of vitality, and its manners and clothes reveal a subtle and always vigorous artistic atmosphere. I often listen to Xuefeng's experience and confusion about calligraphy creation when chatting with friends. I don't care much about what he said at this time, but I often feel that his attitude of focusing on calligraphy is sincere and lovely.
Yan Liang is an enclave in Xi. The original poem consists of four chapters, one is to swim, the other is to watch, the third is to think, and the fourth is to return to Lu. The first two chapters are pleasant, while the last two chapters are sentimental. When a person swims alone, his heart and scenery are integrated, and he is naturally happy, but there is also a sigh that cannot intersect with the ancients. This is an affectionate poet. According to today's vernacular, the south wind blows new seedlings, just as it makes people flap their wings, and drums fly back to Xiang Fenfei. This beautiful poem and charming poem are touching.
"South Wind" really makes Xuefeng's generation of young painters catch up with a good era. Xuefeng was a person who was blessed by the Tang Dynasty and didn't donate. I majored in oil painting in college, but I have a hobby of pen and ink. At work, I met some like-minded friends, such as Liu Jianshe and He. This group of highly spiritual calligraphy and painting believers gathered in a big atmosphere and took off in just ten years. I often feel that they are "carrier aircraft" flying out of the airport city. Once you have your own "Liaoning", you can hold it high. Xue Feng's Liaoning is both his book and his painting. There are no quiet trees in the forest, and the river keeps flowing. Xuefeng deeply embeds the roots of art into simple and natural life, and explores this simple and profound self with the solidification of years, without relying on doors, pretending to understand people and catching up with speed. However, the pace never stopped. The most difficult thing for artists to grasp is the balance between the unchangeable and the changeable. Persistence can easily lead to stagnation and dull worries, while persistence in change can easily lead to wildness and irrationality, and it is easy to lose preciseness. Xuefeng hammer practice pen and ink, but also through reading and writing to maintain temperament, self-restraint, cultivate mind. He keeps the routine of the past and seeks changes in his writing. It's not important to keep the ancient mud, and it's not important to change when changing. Therefore, his paintings present a secret realm, such as walking clouds and stopping clouds. Sometimes naive, sometimes cunning and weird. Sometimes bold and provocative, sometimes degenerate, and sometimes act like a child. However, what makes me happy is that his pen and ink are flexible, vivid and interesting. This is the expression of the author's inner peace. The so-called "light" is not frivolous, but relaxed. The so-called "quietness" means a peaceful mind and a firm mind, not impetuous and rude. Obviously, Xuefeng pursues an atmosphere, which continues the freehand brushwork spirit of traditional painting. Therefore, he doesn't want to be bound by one law and one law, thus losing his fresh sense of life. Of course, Xuefeng is still young and bloody, and sometimes he can't help but panic. I think his defects can be completely changed with the passage of time.

Nowadays, many talented young calligraphers often lost themselves in ancient times and couldn't find their spiritual home, so the more they write, the worse they get. This has also become a plateau phenomenon in contemporary calligraphy. The so-called "plateau" phenomenon is a psychological feature that a person learns that he can't climb the mountain peaks across the plateau after setting foot on the "plateau". How to avoid this phenomenon? I think it must be worth studying. I think that "courage, talent, knowledge and insight" are indispensable for calligraphy or other arts. Courage and talent are often related to the mastery of talent, while learning and knowledge are mainly cultivated. Xuefeng is ambitious, courageous and talented, which is extremely rare, and knowledge and knowledge are being cultivated. The so-called learning, for a calligrapher, includes both technical experience and humanistic cultivation. And cognition is closely related to the first few items. Xuefeng's calligraphy, especially today's Zhang Caoshu, looks for artistic language in ancient calligraphy classics, such as Calm, Han Bamboo Slips and Cherry Orchid Shredded Paper. Its breath is lofty, its spirit is restrained and its lines are harmonious. In fact, Xuefeng's calligraphy and painting correspond and complement each other in spirit, but they are harmonious in style and spirit, but only in different ways of expression. This kind of artist who works both inside and outside, painting and calligraphy are synchronized, is even more valuable in the current cultural ecology. Therefore, I am optimistic about Xuefeng and am happy for his every progress.
