An introduction to Ma Fan’s art

Ma Fan, a famous calligrapher, painter and seal engraver, has in-depth research on poetry, appreciation, ancient characters, etc., and is known as the first person in small seal script in contemporary calligraphy circles.

Splashing ink and wild grass are uniquely created by Ma Fan, creating the state of mind of using pen and ink in calligraphy. Ma Fan's landscape, flower and bird paintings are elegant in style and full of aura. He is especially good at painting eagles and is known as the Eastern Eagle God. Ma Fan is currently a full-time calligrapher, calligrapher, and connoisseur at the Nanjing Museum, a part-time professor at Nanjing University, a professor at the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University, and a national first-class artist.
