Brief introduction of Xu Chi

Born in Haicheng, Liaoning Province, 1934. Distinguished professor of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, postgraduate tutor of Chinese Painting Department, member of China Calligraphers Association, consultant of Liaoning Calligraphers Association, honorary chairman of Shenyang Calligraphers Association and researcher of Shenyang Literature and History Research Institute. Published monographs include Xu Chi's Calligraphy Collection, Essentials of Learning Books, and Xu Chi's Calligraphy Art. There is a book called China's Ancient Calligraphy Classics. His works have been included in Selected Modern Calligraphy in China, Essentials of Hundred Ink Calligraphy in China, Essentials of Hundred Ink Calligraphy in China and Japan, Panorama of Contemporary Calligraphy in China, Selected Contemporary Calligraphy and Collection of Contemporary China Calligraphy. He has published articles such as A Glance at Yan Zhenqing's Calligraphy and Talking about Wang Duo's Calligraphy in various publications such as Calligraphy Art, and has participated in many important calligraphy exhibitions at home and abroad. 200 1, "Xu Chi Wang Calligraphy Exhibition" was held in China Art Museum.
