Because the cursive script is characterized by simplifying the complex, connecting points with paintings, deleting the complex and simplifying them, and connecting them into one. Cursive writing is fast, mainly because of simplification and Lian Bi. Simplification: point drawing simplification, radical simplification and overall simplification. Lian Bi is a combination of several strokes, including one stroke, two strokes and multiple strokes.
Through simplification and Lian Bi, two or three or even one or two cursive scripts were completed. Finally, the picture presented is that the characters are not like characters, but like an artistic painting made at will, so the cursive script looks like a painting.
The development of cursive script:
The cursive script appeared earlier. Since the early Han Dynasty, when writing official script, it was sometimes scribbled, also known as "Cao Zhang", which is a kind of official script cursive script. Cao Zhang's words are independent and close to cursive, but the difficult words are not simplified much, and the writing style remains unchanged. Later, regular script appeared, which evolved into "modern cursive script", that is, regular script cursive script. The writing speed was fast, and the upper and lower characters were often connected, and the last stroke echoed with Prime Minister Pen.
In the Tang Dynasty, cursive script has become a kind of calligraphy art, and it has evolved into "wild cursive script", and its function as a tool for transmitting information has weakened, becoming a work of art. It doesn't matter whether people can recognize what they are writing as long as they pay attention to the black and white arrangement of bookshelves and papers.
