As we know, there are five kinds of characters in China, namely orthography, cursive script, official script, seal script and running script. Generally, fonts are named after the founder's surname. For example, Yan Zhenqing has Yan style, and Liu Gongquan has Liu style. Of all the civilizations in the world, only our country's culture has been passed down for five thousand years, and so have Chinese characters. Chinese characters first appeared in the form of Oracle Bone Inscriptions, which appeared in the late Shang Dynasty. Since then, the fonts of various dynasties have emerged in an endless stream, which allows us to appreciate the beauty of Chinese characters.
Song Ti is the most commonly used font at present. Song typeface is the main font for both online documents and offline printing. This popularity should not be described too much. According to the law mentioned above, Songti should be founded by a calligrapher named Song, but the founder of Songti is not named Song, but Qin, and this person is a public figure in history.
Qin Gui is a great genius, especially in calligraphy. He not only absorbed the essence of his predecessors' calligraphy, but also integrated his own characteristics to create a font that is simple and easy to print. Besides doing this, Qin Gui has done other things, but nothing is as great as this one.
When he fought against Xu Jinguo, he chose to side with the capitulators. Yue Fei and Han Shizhong, one of the two great generals in the Song Dynasty, narrowly escaped death. However, Qin Gui did not follow, and even became hostile to Yue Fei. When he put Yue Fei in prison, he didn't even have a charge. Another general went to Qin Gui instead of asking why Yue Fei was put in prison. Qin Gui said it was groundless. Later, Qin Gui sent Yue Fei and his son to the guillotine.
No one wants to commemorate such a person, so even if he created the Song Dynasty, people are only willing to name the Song Dynasty after it.
