Teacher Liu not only has high attainments in calligraphy, but also has many works in Chinese language and literature. Editor-in-chief of 6 university humanities course textbooks, published 3 monographs, presided over and edited 5 university textbooks; Presided over the compilation and development of teaching software for five university textbooks, including the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" textbooks; More than 60 academic papers have been published in public journals.

As a scholar calligrapher, Mr. Liu's cursive script is modest and meaningful, with respect for each stroke and the spirit of humility and courtesy between the lines. Liu Jiaoshou's calligraphy works have been included in six university textbooks and two primary and secondary school textbooks, and he has been invited to write titles for public publications of more than 20 national regular publishing houses. His works have been widely exchanged in China, Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and other places, and many of his works have been given as valuable gifts by relevant departments or individuals to international friends such as the United States, Singapore and Australia.
