This sentence was first seen in Chen Zisheng's "Zhongzhou Thatched Cottage Collection", for which he wrote three couplets and is contained in four poems. "Smoke lock pond willow" can be considered an absolute in history, because the five characters in the structure use the five elements as radicals; the artistic conception depicts a quiet pond, surrounded by green willows and shrouded in smoke, so the opposite is consistent with the five elements and the artistic conception. It is not easy to match the verses.
