Orchids grow on the top of rocks, and their fragrance floats among rocks, emitting beautiful flowers in prominent rocks and cracks between rocks.
It's not that the clouds are rolling under our feet, but that orchids don't want to ignore them, and they don't know when they will come or when they will leave.
Translation;
Orchids grow on the top of the rock and are full of fragrance. Among the prominent rocks and cracks, exotic flowers and herbs are rich and fragrant.
It's not that there is no sound of floating clouds rolling under your feet, but that orchids don't want to pay attention, don't know when they will come, and will not stay if they leave.
Painting Orchids is a poem by Zheng Xie, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, which was written by the poet for his own orchids. The whole poem takes orchids as the object, describing that they grow on the top of the rock and are full of fragrance, especially in the crevices of the rock, and the beautiful flowers are rich and fragrant, praising the independent character of orchids that do not associate with "floating clouds and dust". Express your ambition in the name of orchids-stick to honesty, be indifferent to self-sufficiency and pursue individual freedom. This poem, like many of Zheng Xie's Lanzhushi poems, skillfully combines poems, books and paintings, expresses the owner's seclusion feelings through implicit means, worships himself without being moved by secular troubles, and forms its own style, which has also brought extensive and far-reaching influence to the art, literature and painting circles of later generations.
