She told the police that there was a poem and an abused child at every death scene, and the abandoned child was rescued under the guidance of the girl phantom.

Jiang Zhixian (Li Yijing), the policeman in charge of the case, started to trace the "red cry" behind the serial killings through secret chat. In the process of investigation, he discovered the horror of child abuse, and finally found out the truth of all cases with poetry as a clue.

Film and television evaluation

The Red Moon and the Blue Sun, like the antithesis, stimulates literary sensibility. Poetic serial murders meet with psychological horror atmosphere, and coordinate with the heavy theme of child abuse, forming a unique texture. Although the TV series takes the form of tracing serial murderers, it throws a more important topic than who is the criminal. This is a social statement about child abuse.
