Historical connection
When the water of the Yangtze River reaches the foothills of Lushan Mountain and meets Poyang Lake, it has reached the ancient firewood and mulberry trees. Today's Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, here is the beauty of the smoke-locked Jiangnan. , cloisters and pavilions, the mountains are empty, and the smoke is misty. I think of the hero's figure looming in the mist-locked smoke cage, wearing armor and holding a sword, standing by the water, with his clothes and belt catching the wind, reading the division and pointing the generals, with the wind coming from time to time. The gesture of sending off made an immortal achievement...
Xingzi County in Jiujiang City is where the ancient Chaisang was located. Chaisang was the administrative seat of Soochow before the Chibi War. There is Gantang Lake here, and there is a dipping moon in the lake. On the island, there are Cuizhao Pavilion, Tingyu Pavilion, Yi Pavilion, Jinyue Pavilion, Boat Hall, Yanshui Pavilion, Chunyang Hall, Wuxiankuo and Guanyin Pavilion. Yanshui Pavilion is where Zhou Yu ordered his generals. In the 13th year of Jian'an, Cao Cao sent his army south, and Zhou Yu made a painful statement about his interests. Sun Quan, who had no master, decided to join forces with Liu to fight against Cao, worshiped Zhou Yu as the commander of the coalition, and bet all the territory south of the Yangtze River on Zhou Yu. "Xingzi County Chronicle" records: " Sun Quan ordered Zhou Yu to teach naval warfare at Poyang Lake. "Zhou Yu took office in a hurry and practiced naval warfare day and night at Gantang Lake. He fought against Cao's army and finally defeated Cao's army of 230,000, creating a historical miracle for one-third of the world. bureau.
Surrounded by thousands of mountains and surrounded by rivers, nine sects, "the people are noble and pure, and they are rich and beautiful." Since ancient times, Chaisang has been a capital city where boats and cars come together and merchants gather. Chaisang is located at the junction of the four provinces of Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan and Anhui, with a river and a lake, and Lushan Mountain at its back. It is a military town that must be fought over by military strategists.
Chaisang is also known as Jiujiang. The name of Jiujiang was first seen in records such as "Jiujiang Kongyin" and "Crossing Jiujiang to Dongling" in "Shangshu Yugong". Later, according to "Jin Taikang Diji", Jiujiang originated from "Liu Xin thought that the Nine Rivers of Huhan (i.e. Ganjiang River, Po River, Yu River, Xiushui, Gan River, Xu River, Shu River, Nan River and Peng River) ) into Pengli Zeye". The Yangtze River flows through the waters of Jiujiang and converges with Poyang Lake and the rivers adjacent to the three provinces of Jiangxi, Hubei and Anhui. Hundreds of rivers flow back to the sea. The water is vast and the river is magnificent.
Chaisang has an earlier development history. During the Xia and Shang Dynasties, Chaisang belonged to the territory of Jing and Yangzhou. In the Spring and Autumn Period, Chaisang belonged to the eastern border of Wu and the western border of Chu, so it was called "the head of Wu and the tail of Chu". Chaisang first appeared as an administrative division in the Qin Dynasty. Qin Shihuang divided the world into thirty-six counties, including Jiujiang County. Since then, Jiujiang has also had ancient names such as Chaisang, Xunyang, Runan, Huancheng, and Dehua, but it is mainly known as Jiujiang, Chaisang, Xunyang, and Jiangzhou.
After Qin Shihuang unified China in 221 BC, he divided the country into 36 counties, including Jiujiang County. During the Western Han Dynasty, Jiujiang County was founded and was called Chaisang. In the sixth year of Emperor Gao of the Han Dynasty (201 BC), the chariot and cavalry general Guan Ying dug a well and built a city for garrison here. It was called Wei City, also known as Guanying City. During the Three Kingdoms period, it belonged to Soochow and was under the jurisdiction of Wuchang County.
Chaisang was once a battlefield for military strategists. From the early Western Han Dynasty when Liu Bang sent the chariot general Guan Ying to pursue Wang Yingbu of Jiujiang, to the late Eastern Han Dynasty when Zhou Yu, the commander of the Soochow Navy, trained his navy on Poyang Lake... For thousands of years, the golden horses galloping across the land of Jiangzhou left behind Remains of many ancient battlefields. The stories described in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" such as "Zhuge Liang's tongue-in-cheek battle with the Confucian scholars", "The gathering of heroes and Jiang Qian fell into the trap", and "The dragon in Chaisangkou pays filial piety" are all related to Jiujiang and can be found between Kuangshan and Lishui.
